Virgin Media becomes Ireland’s most widely available broadband provider

Virgin Media has announced that its superfast broadband, mobile and entertainment services are now available to more households and businesses across Ireland than any other provider.

The company says the expansion means a greater number of families and communities can choose Virgin Media’s services nationwide, increasing its reach beyond previous levels.

Virgin Media did not disclose specific figures for the number of new connections, but highlighted that the rollout covers both residential and commercial customers throughout the country.

The development follows ongoing competition in the Irish telecommunications market, with providers seeking to broaden coverage and improve service offerings.
