Letterkenny Golf Classic donates €7,625 to Donegal Hospice

The organising committee of the Letterkenny Golf Classic announced that €7,625 has been presented to the Donegal Hospice.

The charity fund was raised during the Golf Classic held at Letterkenny Golf Club on Friday, 29 April. Committee members said they were “delighted” with the outcome and thanked the club for providing its course and its members for taking part.

Golfers from across the county were also acknowledged for their support, as were the event’s main sponsor, Noel Mc Ginley of McGinley Motors Letterkenny, and several other local sponsors who contributed in various ways.

The committee paid tribute to the Donegal Hospice, commending the “wonderful work they do” and wishing them success with a new development that is set to commence in the near future.

Funds raised will assist the hospice in continuing its palliative care services throughout the county.
