Jason Quigley aims to host title fights in Donegal by 2027
Former world middleweight challenger Jason Quigley has announced plans to bring a title fight to Donegal in 2027.…

Kilmallock dethroned Na Piarsaigh to win their 13th Limerick Senior Hurling Championship at the Gaelic Grounds over the Bank Holiday weekend.
The final score was 3‑19 to 1‑22 in favour of James Hickey’s Kilmallock side after a closely contested match.
Despite a shaky start that left Kilmallock five points behind after ten minutes, the team steadied and led 0‑12 to 0‑9 at the halfway stage, helped by wind‑assisted scores from Pierce Connery and goalkeeper Conor Hanley‑Clarke, who also made a series of sharp saves.
The second half turned into a goal‑fest. Na Piarsaigh’s Shane O’Brien, Oisín O’Reilly and Graeme Mulcahy each added three points, while William O’Donoghue scored a goal that briefly gave his side the lead. O’Reilly quickly responded, keeping the contest lively.
The decisive moment came when Kilmallock captain Graeme Mulcahy scored a bizarre out‑field strike that deceived the defence and settled the John Daly Cup for the coming year.
Referee John O’Halloran of Bruree oversaw the match.
