Trump’s arrival prompts early entry and security checks at Texas‑Tennessee game

Former President Donald Trump’s appearance at the Texas versus Tennessee college football match led organisers to open Neyland Stadium 30 minutes earlier than usual on Saturday.

Security checks on the perimeter, coordinated with the Secret Service, proceeded smoothly, allowing fans to enter the venue ahead of kickoff.

Supporters who arrived early were offered half‑price concessions, resulting in the stands being half full 90 minutes before the game and nearly full an hour before the start.

The Longhorns ultimately held off the Volunteers, securing a 20‑17 victory.
