Over 1,500 motorists caught speeding in Bank Holiday road policing operation
Gardaí have recorded more than 1,500 speed‑limit offences during the first two days of the October Bank Holiday…

Gardaí from the Milford Roads Policing Unit seized a car in the Falcarragh area last night after discovering the driver was travelling unaccompanied and the vehicle displayed no L plates.
The vehicle’s National Car Test (NCT) had expired almost six months prior to the seizure, breaching road safety regulations.
A garda spokesperson warned that “never take risks when it comes to road safety,” emphasizing the importance of compliance with licensing and testing requirements.
