Donegal singer‑songwriter Seán Feeny will resume live performances in November, with three dates showcasing material from his debut album Galactic Tides.
The first show is on Saturday 7 November at The Nerve Centre in Derry, where Feeny will support The Riptide Movement, with Derry band Lavengro also on the bill. The event, presented by Small Town Entertainments, starts at 8 pm.
Feeny’s second appearance is at the monthly open‑mic night Clubeo in Leo’s Tavern, Meenaleck, on Friday 20 November at 9 pm. The night celebrates the legacy of the late Moya Brennan and will see Feeny perform alongside old friends in his home pub.
The final November gig is in Belfast on Friday 27 November at 7.30 pm, where he will support Galway folk trio The Whileaways at the Crescent Arts Centre. The concert is presented by Music Capital and tickets are already selling quickly.
Feeny, who last performed on stage more than a decade ago after a career in journalism and marketing, released Galactic Tides earlier this year. The ten‑track album, produced by Donegal musician Orri McBrearty, has received coverage from RTÉ Radio 1, Hot Press and several UK and international outlets, and was praised by RnR Magazine as “thoughtful and mature”.
Feeny said the upcoming shows mark a significant step in his musical journey, following the recent loss of his father and a long period away from the stage.
