Sherweb establishes European headquarters in Dublin and adds over a dozen jobs

Sherweb, a Canadian cloud distributor, has announced that Dublin will serve as its European headquarters.

The move follows the acquisition of Irish IT distributor MicroWarehouse, which was completed in December 2024. MicroWarehouse will now operate under the Sherweb name, with its existing customers retaining their local team and hardware offerings while gaining access to Sherweb’s global marketplace.

Sherweb said the integration has delivered double‑digit growth and that the company will create “more than a dozen” new positions across business development, partner success, technical support, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.

Matthew Cassar, co‑founder and co‑CEO of Sherweb, said the incorporation of MicroWarehouse provides a strong foundation for the next stage of growth in Ireland, the UK and Europe. Rob Driver, managing director for cloud at Sherweb, added that Ireland and the UK are key markets and that the firm will expand AI capabilities through its Customer Zero approach.

Sherweb, founded in 1998 and headquartered in Quebec, already operates in Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom, and recently secured a €125 million minority equity investment from Investissement Québec to accelerate its international expansion.
