The Southill Hub in Limerick City has received €85,000 from this year’s VHI Health and Wellbeing Fund.
The grant is part of €85,000 distributed to nine youth organisations and community groups across the Republic of Ireland.
The funding will be used to expand the Hub’s “Nurture Through Nutrition” programme, which runs interactive health‑cooking and nutrition workshops for young people aged 12 to 25.
Through the scheme, participants will develop practical food‑preparation skills, learn to make informed dietary choices and receive support to address food poverty in the community.
