Gardaí appeal for information after trailer stolen from Killygordon community centre

Gardaí are seeking information about the theft of an aluminium trailer from the Crossroads and Killygordon Enterprise (CAKE) Centre in Killygordon, County Donegal, on the night of 29 October.

The 8 ft × 5 ft trailer with mesh sides was taken during a break‑in at approximately 12:50 am. It was later seen being towed through the Aghyaran area on the Tyrone side of the border.

Investigators are asking anyone who drove through the Killygordon or Crossroads areas – including Monellan Road and the Carn border – with a dash‑cam between 00.30 am and 01 am on 29 October to provide the footage. They are particularly interested in sightings of a white Ford estate car believed to have been in the vicinity at that time.

Anyone with information on the trailer’s whereabouts or the incident is urged to contact Gardaí in Ballyshannon on 071 985 8530 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.

A spokesperson for the CAKE group said the galvanised trailer is invaluable for community work and its loss is a significant blow to their activities.
