Man’s body discovered at Clondalkin recycling centre

Gardaí have found a man’s body at a recycling facility in Clondalkin, Dublin, shortly before 1 am on Thursday.

The discovery prompted a technical examination of the site, with the Office of the State Pathologist notified and a post‑mortem to be carried out.

A senior investigating officer has been appointed to lead the inquiry, and all circumstances surrounding the death are being examined.

An incident room has been set up at Ronanstown Garda Station, and Gardaí are urging anyone with information to contact them.
