A Letterkenny charity shop has given a 24‑hour ultimatum to the individuals who left several dirty mattresses and a bed base outside its premises.

The incident occurred at about 10.30 pm on Wednesday, 21 October, according to CCTV footage captured at the Renewed Charity Shop. A white van arrived twice that night; the first time a woman drove the van while a man walked behind it and left two mattresses and a bed base. The same man later returned with a younger boy and deposited additional mattresses.

Staff discovered the discarded bedding the following morning. The shop has reported the matter to the local county council and An Garda Síochána.

In a public appeal, the shop has asked those responsible to collect the items within 24 hours, warning that legal proceedings will be pursued if the items are not removed.
