Over 1,500 motorists caught speeding in Bank Holiday road policing operation
Gardaí have recorded more than 1,500 speed‑limit offences during the first two days of the October Bank Holiday…

The search for 35‑year‑old Joshua O’Hagan of Buncrana has been stood down following the discovery of a man’s body this evening.
Gardai had issued an appeal on Tuesday for information on O’Hagan, who was reported missing the previous day. The appeal called on the public and media to assist in locating him.
In a statement issued this evening, Gardai confirmed that the search operation had been halted and thanked members of the public and the media for their assistance in the effort.
