Pedestrian killed in overnight hit‑and‑run on Kerry’s N69

A male pedestrian was killed in an overnight hit‑and‑run collision on the N69 near Dromin Upper, Listowel, County Kerry, after 3 am on Thursday.

Gardaí said the victim was struck by a van that failed to remain at the scene. A technical examination of the crash site is currently under way.

The Gardaí have appealed for witnesses or anyone with information about the incident to contact them.
