Man in his 20s in critical condition after Listowel assault

A man in his 20s is in critical condition after being assaulted in The Square, Listowel, County Kerry on Thursday evening.

Details of the incident

The assault occurred between 8.15pm and 9.15pm on Thursday, 24 September. The victim was taken to Cork University Hospital, where he remains in a critical state.

Gardaí in Listowel are seeking witnesses who were in the vicinity of The Square during the time of the attack. They are particularly interested in anyone who may have dash‑cam or mobile phone footage of the incident.
