Man charged with murder of Romanian woman found in Finglas
A 47‑year‑old man, Daniel Simion Toader, has been charged with the murder of 48‑year‑old Romanian pharmacy worker Loredana…

A Macroom woman has been directed by the district court to submit to two random drug tests and cooperate with the Probation Service after pleading guilty to possessing cannabis worth €180.
Tracey O’Driscoll, 41, of Barrack Lane, admitted the offence at Macroom District Court. Gardaí had searched a premises on Barrack Lane on 25 October 2025 under a warrant that targeted other individuals; however, cannabis valued at €180 was found in O’Driscoll’s possession.
The court noted O’Driscoll has one prior conviction that was not drug‑related. Defence solicitor Patrick Goold said his client accepted the facts, does not have a drug problem and no longer uses drugs.
Judge Joanne Carroll ordered the Probation Service to prepare a short report and required O’Driscoll to provide two random drug tests, to which she consented. The matter was adjourned until 20 January 2027 for the report and test results.
