The incident occurred between 4.20 pm and 8 pm, and Gardaí are now investigating the burglary. Although the property was disturbed, officials say they do not believe anything was stolen.
A Garda spokesperson appealed for witnesses, asking anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area during the time frame to contact Gardaí in Ballyshannon on 071‑985 8530. The spokesperson also requested that anyone who recorded dash‑cam footage while travelling through the area between those hours make the footage available to the investigation.
