At least four Palestinians were killed in Gaza on Saturday as Israel continued its attacks, despite a cease‑fire that has been in place for over a year.

Shelling hit the Nuseirat refugee camp, killing teacher Diaa Abu al‑Rous, according to al‑Awda Hospital. In the Tel al‑Hawa neighbourhood, southwest of Gaza City, Arafat al‑Arair died from serious injuries sustained days earlier when an Israeli strike hit a vehicle, a medical source at al‑Shifa Hospital confirmed.

Two girls also died after a tent caught fire at a displaced‑people camp in al‑Mawasi, Khan Younis; Nasser Medical Complex reported their deaths, though the cause of the fire remains unclear.

The Gaza Ministry of Health said six Palestinians have been killed in the past 48 hours, bringing the total death toll since the October 2025 cease‑fire to 1,580, with 26 more injured in the same period.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights warned that Israeli actions are displacing residents and raising concerns of ethnic cleansing, noting the destruction of remaining civilian infrastructure as Israel seeks to expand control over 70 percent of Gaza.
