Donegal jockey Patrick McGettigan wins two races at Down Royal

Donegal jockey Patrick McGettigan secured a double victory at Down Royal yesterday.

He first rode Minaun View, trained by Ado McGuinness, to win an earlier race.

Later, McGettigan captured the Molson Coors Beverage Handicap on Pillar of Hope at 22/1 odds. Pillar of Hope is trained by Letterkenny native Paul Sweeney, adding a further Donegal connection to the success.
