The Limerick branch of the voluntary mental health organisation Aware has started a regular peer support group.

Aware provides support and information for people experiencing depression or bipolar disorder and their loved ones. The new Support and Self‑Care Groups aim to create a supportive, confidential and proactive environment where participants can discuss depression, related mood conditions and their impact.

Group members share experiences, understanding, thoughts and techniques around self‑care and resilience. Meetings are held on the first three Tuesdays of each month at 7 pm in the Ground Floor, Room G08, Foundation Building, Mary Immaculate College (V94 VN26).
