Letterkenny Rovers were beaten 3-1 at home by Salthill Devon in the FAI National League on Saturday.

Salthill opened the scoring in the ninth minute through Ben McDonnell, and ten minutes later Princewill Diala added a second goal, giving the visitors a comfortable lead.

Rovers reduced the deficit shortly before half‑time when Shane McNamee scored, but Diala struck again early in the second half to seal the win for Salthill.

The defeat leaves Letterkenny Rovers in fourth place in Group 2. They will aim to finish their inaugural National League season with a victory in their final match against TU Dublin next weekend.
