St Catherine’s secured a 2‑1 win over Kilmacrennan at Emerald Park on Sunday, while Fanad United recorded a 6‑0 triumph against Letterkenny Rovers at Leckview Park.

At Emerald Park the home side took the lead after four minutes when Josh Maxwell finished from an Aaron Doherty assist. St Catherine’s doubled the advantage in the 45th minute when Ryan Cunningham’s in‑swinging corner met Kyle McGeoghan’s head. Kilmacrennan reduced the deficit on 68 minutes after a poor handling by their keeper allowed John Sandilands’ strike to slip in, but they could not find a second goal. In the 80th minute a long clearance was flicked on by Josh Cunningham to Matthew McClean, who finished low to seal the three points for St Catherine’s.

In the match at Leckview Park Fanad United dominated, scoring six unanswered goals. Davin Blake saved an early effort from Daibhid Lynch, and Edward O’Reilly capitalised on the rebound to open the scoring. O’Reilly added a second after a right‑wing cross in the 22nd minute and later completed a hat‑trick, while goals from Fouad Bashar, Ronan Gallagher and Cormac Dunleavy contributed to the comprehensive win. Letterkenny Rovers struggled to create chances and were unable to threaten Fanad’s goalkeeper.
