1,815 Newcastle West homes gain high‑speed fibre broadband

National Broadband Ireland has announced that 1,815 homes and businesses in Newcastle West and the surrounding areas are now connected to the high‑speed fibre broadband network.

The rollout covers Newcastle West, Monegea and Broadford, with an additional 803 properties in Loughill and Glensharrold slated to receive fibre connections shortly.

To date, a total of 6,960 connections have been completed across Limerick city and county, including recent work in Abbeyfeale and nearby Charleville.

Further expansion planned

National Broadband Ireland says the continued expansion will improve digital infrastructure for residents and businesses throughout the region.
