Industry insider Daragh Cassidy of Bonkers.ie predicts Irish energy bills will rise again in the New Year, potentially…

Independent Limerick City East councillor Elena Secas has added a dedicated Bus Éireann communication office in Limerick to her wish‑list.
Secas said the proposal stems from ongoing difficulties parents face when trying to contact Bus Éireann about school transport. She noted that enquiries must currently be directed to the company’s Dublin office, with no local contact point available.
According to the councillor, repeated phone calls, emails and online forms have left families waiting weeks for responses, creating serious consequences and frustration for those affected.
Secas argues that a local office would make it easier to support families and resolve transport problems promptly.
