Fashion technology start‑up Artiso AI has raised more than €3 million in a pre‑seed funding round.
The round was led by Criteria Venture Tech with participation from Swanlaab, Bynd Venture Capital, investor David Tomás and Ganni founder Nicolaj Reffstrup.
Artiso AI was founded in Barcelona in 2025 by former Mango executives Sarah Iglesias Hiller (CEO), Lucas Pastur Romay (CPO) and Matthias Brenninkmeijer (CTO). The trio have worked together since 2022.
The company is developing an AI‑native operating system designed specifically for the fashion industry, aiming to streamline workflows from concept to production. Funds will be used to build the platform, expand the team across fashion and technology, and onboard more global customers, particularly in the United States, Europe and Asia.
Co‑founder and CTO Matthias Brenninkmeijer said the system will allow brands to generate images, sketches and tech packs that reflect each brand’s identity while keeping human control over decisions. Managing director of Criteria Venture Tech, Roma Jelinskaite, highlighted the founders’ first‑hand experience of the problem and the product’s existing end‑to‑end use by customers.
