Members of the community group Spraoi agus Sport have presented a cheque for €634.15 to the Carndonagh Community First Responders.
The funds were raised at a “Tea with Slí” event in August, organised and led by participants in the group’s WorkAbility programme. The event aimed to support the volunteer first‑responder service while giving participants practical experience in event planning and teamwork.
WorkAbility participants Tanya Cavanagh, Rosie McLaughlin and Gillian Treanor, together with WorkAbility Officer Mary Green, handed over the cheque to representatives of the Carndonagh Community First Responders. The initiative provided the volunteers with valuable skills and contributed to the sustainability of the local emergency service.
