Dublin North and South carers named regional winners for 2026 awards

Two local carers have been named regional winners and will compete as national finalists in the Carer of the Year Awards 2026.

Luiz Felipe Zani was announced as the Dublin North regional winner, recognised for the warmth, patience and professionalism he brings to his role.

James Dave Guarin was selected as the Dublin South/Wicklow regional winner, praised for his kindness, dependability and the trust he builds with the people he supports.

Both carers will join five other finalists from across Ireland at the national stage. The overall winner will be revealed at the Right at Home Carer of the Year Awards in Galway on 16 October.
