866 new dwellings completed in Limerick in 2025
A total of 866 new dwellings were completed in Limerick in 2025, according to the Central Statistics Office.
Limerick City and County Council clarified to Fine Gael councillor Peter Doyle that the figure comprises 283 single houses, 500 scheme houses and 83 apartments.
The breakdown by local electoral area shows 108 completions in Newcastle West, 140 in Adare‑Rathkeale, 128 in Cappamore‑Kilmallock, 251 in City West, 46 in City North and 193 in City East.
