South Dublin Council urges residents to complete citizen survey

South Dublin County Council (SDCC) is asking residents to take part in its Citizen Survey 2026 to help shape council services.

The online questionnaire, available in English, Irish and, for the first time, Polish, aims to identify what is working well, where improvements are needed and what matters most to communities across the county. An accessible Word version can be downloaded for offline completion, and hard‑copy surveys may be returned by post.

SDCC says the feedback will inform progress on its Corporate Plan 2025‑2029 and support the Public Sector Equality and Human Rights Duty. The council is particularly keen to hear from people who may experience inequality or barriers to participation, ensuring a range of backgrounds are represented.

Topics covered include the seven goals of the Corporate Plan – climate action, housing, economic development, community wellbeing, culture, accessibility and customer experience. Respondents who provide contact details in Section 3 can enter a draw for a €200 One4all voucher.

The survey must be completed by Monday, 19 October 2026. It can be accessed via the SDCC Online Consultation Portal.
