A period‑costume re‑enactment of Michael Hogan’s famed “Drunken Thady” epic will be staged on Monday 26 October at O’Driscoll’s Lounge Bar in Corbally.

The performance, set to begin at 7.30 pm, will dramatise the tale of Drunken Thady’s clash with the evil spirit known as the Bishop’s Lady, who attempts to drive him into the River Shannon at Thomond Bridge and claim his soul.

Pat Power will serve as narrator, delivering all 450 lines from memory. The event is free of charge and organisers have invited musicians, singers and other performers to join the entertainment.
