Woman sentenced to 2 years 9 months for laundrette robbery
A 47‑year‑old woman, Ennis Dunne, was sentenced by Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to two years and nine months…

Gardaí are investigating criminal damage at a vacant student property on College Court near the University of Limerick after footage of extensive destruction was shared online.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, 7 October. Video clips circulating on social media show two young men hurling furniture through a window, shattering the glass, while others can be heard laughing. The footage also reveals holes in walls and damage to part of the ceiling.
A Garda spokesperson confirmed that a technical examination of the scene has been carried out and that investigations are ongoing.
The University of Limerick said it promotes responsible behaviour and takes anti‑social conduct seriously. While most students contribute positively to the community, the university acknowledged that property damage and public disorder are serious concerns and that any complaints involving students are dealt with under its code of conduct.
Some of the social media clips have since been removed, including a video filmed by a young woman using Sabrina Carpenter’s song “House Tour,” part of a trend where users showcase their homes.
