€10m EU project dynADVICE launched to boost agri‑advice networks

A €10 million Horizon Europe‑funded project called dynADVICE has begun, aiming to strengthen agricultural advisory services across Europe.

The seven‑year initiative, coordinated by Teagasc, brings together 21 beneficiaries from 16 countries, including advisory services, professional networks, research bodies and innovation specialists. The project started on 1 September and held its kick‑off meeting in Kilkenny on 22‑23 September, where partners outlined a shared vision and collaborative working plan.

dynADVICE seeks to create a sustainable, high‑value European advisory network by fostering dynamic learning communities. It will link advisers and organisations across borders and sectors, facilitating the flow of research, policy and innovation knowledge to farms. Activities will include training, mentoring, peer learning, workshops, cross‑country visits and exchanges, supported by multilingual digital tools and an online collaborative space.

A key element is €3.9 million in cascade funding, to be awarded through seven open calls – the first expected in early 2027 – allowing impartial advisers and networks outside the original consortium to join project activities.

Teagasc’s dynADVICE coordinator, Jane Kavanagh, said success depends on partners combining expertise and advisers shaping solutions, while Teagasc advisory head Tom Curran highlighted the project’s potential to improve support for farmers throughout Europe.
