Woman sentenced to 2 years 9 months for laundrette robbery
A 47‑year‑old woman, Ennis Dunne, was sentenced by Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to two years and nine months…

Several vehicles parked near St Eunan’s Cathedral in Letterkenny were damaged in a sustained overnight attack.
The incident affected cars in the cathedral car park and on Ard O’Donnell, with a number of wing mirrors being knocked off.
Victims of the random criminal damage contacted Letterkenny Garda Station on the morning after the attack. One man, who had left his car overnight on Ard O’Donnell, said he was “shocked and just lost for words” when he returned to find the wing mirror missing.
The man, who regularly parks in the area, described the neighbourhood as “nice, residential” and said the damage was unexpected. He added that he felt “sick to the pit of my stomach” and noted that “Letterkenny is a very different place these days.”
Donegal Daily sought comment from An Garda Síochána’s Press Office, but had not received a response at the time of publication.
