Appeal launched for missing Buncrana man, Josh O’Hagan

An appeal has been launched for information about Josh O’Hagan, a 35‑year‑old man from Buncrana who has not been seen since Saturday, 17 October.

O’Hagan was last observed leaving his family home carrying a tent. He is described as about 6 ft tall, with brown hair, blue eyes and a Bohemian style of dress; he may have been wearing a duffle coat and a beanie hat.

The family said he often visits Letterkenny and Derry and had mentioned the possibility of camping on Inch Island. Since his disappearance, they have been unable to make contact and are increasingly concerned for his safety.

Appeals for information have been circulated on social media this afternoon. Anyone with details of his whereabouts is asked to contact Buncrana Garda Station on 074‑93‑20540.
