Comedian Kyla Cobbler announces first pregnancy with husband Simon Stewart

Kyla Cobbler and her husband Simon Stewart have confirmed they are expecting their first child together.

The comedian shared an Instagram post on Wednesday morning showing both of them holding a pregnancy test, alongside a screenshot of an ultrasound dated “April 2027”. She captioned the image “happy thank you more please @_simonbuilds”, referencing her recently published memoir.

Cobbler and Stewart were married in an intimate ceremony in Cork in June. In a previous interview with the Irish Examiner, Cobbler said she met Stewart in the third row of a comedy show and credited her career for bringing them together.

Earlier this year, Cobbler spoke openly about her dyspraxia on the programme Uncharted with Ray Goggins and Angela Scanlon, where she and Goggins tackled the Atlas Mountains in Morocco.

The pregnancy announcement quickly attracted attention, receiving over 35,000 likes and 2,400 comments within 30 minutes of posting.
