Tánaiste Simon Harris announced on Wednesday that more than €170,000 from the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) will be allocated to The KITE Initiative in Bray.
The funding is intended to support women in Bray and North Wicklow by removing barriers to employment, the Deputy said.
The KITE Initiative will use the money to develop programmes that enhance skills, provide training and improve access to job opportunities for local women.
The announcement was made as part of the government’s broader effort to boost employment and gender equality in the region.
