Dry weather will dominate much of Thursday across Cork, with a mix of cloud and occasional bright or sunny spells and highs of 12 °C to 14 °C.

Motorists using the M8 towards the Dunkettle Interchange began experiencing delays at 7.20 am, and further congestion is expected. Similar slowdowns are reported on the quays in the city centre and on parts of the N20.

Later on Thursday night cloud will thicken from the west, bringing possible rain and drizzle to the southwest, with lows of 10 °C to 13 °C.

Friday will be cloudier in the west with rain and drizzle, while the south‑east remains drier and brighter, offering sunny spells and highs up to 15 °C. Evening lows will range from 7 °C to 12 °C, with rain persisting in the west.

Saturday is set to stay dry for most of the day, though mist and fog may appear before clearing to a mix of cloud and bright periods. Temperatures will reach 12 °C to 14 °C, and the night will be mostly dry with lows of 5 °C to 10 °C.

Sunday will bring settled, dry conditions with sunny spells and temperatures up to 13 °C.
