Rosses AC and Milford AC win senior cross‑country relay titles in Stranorlar

The senior cross‑country relays in Donegal were decided on Sunday at Finn Valley AC in Stranorlar, with Rosses AC taking the women’s senior gold and Milford AC winning the men’s senior gold.

In the women’s senior race, the Rosses AC quartet of Sarah Doherty, Aine Bonner, Ailbhe O’Donnell and Leah McGarvey secured victory, while Letterkenny AC earned silver and Milford AC took bronze.

The men’s senior relay saw Milford AC triumph, fielding Brian Boyce, Paul Dillon, Joe Gibbons and Paddy Ryan. Letterkenny AC finished second and the bronze went to a team from the Rosses.

LAC also captured the women’s ‘B’ gold with Catherine Boyle, Laura McElwaine, Jeanette Maguire and Dearbhla Walsh. In the masters categories, Cranford AC won the men’s title and Letterkenny AC the women’s crown.

Juvenile relays featured Finn Valley AC dominating with seven golds across various age groups, while Milford AC claimed the U19 mixed and U16 mixed titles, Cranford AC won the U17 boys, and Rosses AC secured the U11 boys and U9 girls medals.
