Nine drivers arrested in Donegal for drink‑driving and drug‑driving offences
Gardaí arrested nine drivers across Donegal on suspicion of driving while under the influence during the Bank Holiday…

A man has been arrested in connection with the death of Loredana Morosanu, a Romanian woman in her 40s, whose body was discovered on Monday morning at a property on Melville Terrace, Finglas, Dublin 11.
Gardaí were called to the address and preserved the scene for forensic examination. Ms Morosanu’s body was taken to the City Morgue in Whitehall for a post‑mortem.
According to Journal.ie reporter Eimear McAuley on Newstalk Breakfast, Gardaí imposed a media blackout while they searched for a suspect. The man was arrested in the wider Finglas area at about 11 am and remains in Garda custody.
Ms Morosanu had lived and worked in Dublin for around a decade, employed in a local pharmacy, and had moved into the Melville Terrace property only a few weeks before her death. She was engaged in January and had previously lived elsewhere in Finglas.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who was in the Melville Terrace area between midnight on Sunday and 5 am on Monday to come forward, particularly those with dash‑cam footage.
