A driver was arrested in Letterkenny after being stopped for travelling at 110 km/h in a 60 km/h zone and testing positive for cocaine.

Gardaí halted the vehicle late last night and conducted a drug test, which confirmed the presence of cocaine in the driver’s system. The arrest was made on the spot.

A Garda spokesperson issued a reminder, stating: “Never drive while under the influence of drugs. Slow down.”
