Anthropic files 335‑page prospectus ahead of US IPO
Artificial‑intelligence firm Anthropic has lodged a 335‑page filing with US regulators as it prepares for a long‑awaited stock…

Brian Delaney has been appointed chief investment strategist at Cork‑based Insight Private Clients, bringing more than 25 years of experience in global markets to the firm.
Delaney’s career includes senior roles at Aon in Ireland, where he oversaw €2.5 bn of active multi‑asset solutions for Irish and UK clients, as well as positions at Davy, Bank of Ireland Asset Management and a stint as a senior equity research analyst in New York.
He holds a CFA designation, a Master of Business Studies in Finance and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from University College Dublin. In his new role, Delaney says the firm focuses on keeping client portfolios diversified, balanced and aligned with the current economic environment.
Commenting on recent market trends, Delaney noted that in January 2026 oil was trading at $60 a barrel, its cheapest level relative to gold, with one ounce of gold buying a record 85 barrels of crude. He warned that rising interest rates and inflation have shifted the global economy from a “pro‑capital” to a “pro‑labour” landscape, requiring investors to reposition portfolios.
Delaney highlighted the impact of geopolitical events such as the conflicts in Iran and Ukraine, and US political developments, on energy prices, currencies and investor confidence, urging diversification to mitigate emotional reactions to headlines.
