Power outage affects over 2,000 customers in Letterkenny

A major power outage that began at about 8 pm this evening is affecting more than 2,000 customers in Letterkenny.

The fault has left homes and businesses in the Gortlee area, as well as the Woodlands and Mountain Top districts, without electricity.

ESB Networks confirmed that crews are working to locate and repair the fault, but the estimated time for power to be restored is around midnight.
