The Ireland at Venice exhibition, titled “Assembly”, opened on Thursday at Áras Mhic Dhiarmada / Busáras as a feature of the Cultúr 2026 programme.

The exhibition, designed by Cotter & Naessens Architects, showcases Irish culture as part of the Culture Programme of Ireland’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

Among the attendees were a group of 5th‑class students from St Laurence O’Toole’s National School, who were photographed at the opening.

Cultúr 2026 aims to promote Irish arts, heritage and creative industries across Europe, and the Venice exhibition forms a key element of that outreach.
