A woman has been disqualified from driving for four years after a second conviction for driving without insurance within the past year.

Ms. Muller, of Moores Holiday Homes in Dunfanaghy, was charged by Gardaí on 11 February 2026 for driving without insurance on the N56 at Kill, Dunfanaghy and pleaded guilty.

Garda Inspector Johnny Sweeney told the court that Muller had previously been convicted in May for an offence that occurred on 3 December 2025. At that hearing she was fined €350 but avoided a driving ban, with the court noting she was experiencing “financial hardship”.

Judge Emile Daly again fined Muller €350, ordering payment within six months, and imposed a four‑year disqualification from the road. The ban will commence on 1 February 2027.
