National Organic Awards 2026 winners announced in Dublin

The National Organic Awards 2026 were presented at a ceremony in Dublin on Thursday, 24 September.

The biennial awards, organised by Bord Bia in partnership with the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM), celebrate excellence, innovation and leadership in Ireland’s organic food and farming sector.

Minister of State at DAFM Noel Grealish congratulated the winners and highlighted the “strong momentum” of the sector, noting that the organic market value grew by 12.5 % in 2025 compared with 2024.

Bord Bia organic sector manager Ryan George said the entries demonstrated the depth of talent, innovation and commitment across the Irish organic sector, from farmers and producers to retailers, exporters and food‑service operators.

The independent judging panel, which included chef Lily Higgins and food writer Suzanne Campbell, selected winners from a shortlist of leading businesses.

Award winners were:

• Best Irish Organic Brand – Solaris Botanicals, Loose Leaf Tea
• Best Irish Organic Farmer – Burren Beef & Farm
• Best Irish Organic Retailer – Dunnes Stores
• Best Irish Organic Exporter – Irish Seaspray / Oileán Mara Teo, Organic Salmon
• Best New & Innovative Irish Organic Product – Coghlan’s Artisan Bakers, Rosemary and Olive Oil Focaccia
• Best Irish Organic Foodservice & Impact Initiative – Airfield Estate, Education

The winners were chosen after a competitive judging process held at Bord Bia’s Global Hub earlier in the month.
