Amazone launches Teres 300 reversible plough with GPS support in Ireland

Amazone has introduced the Teres 300 mounted reversible plough to the Irish market, offering both conventional in‑furrow and on‑land ploughing capabilities.

The new model is available in five‑ and six‑furrow configurations and is compatible with tractors up to 300 hp. On‑land ploughing is designed for tractors fitted with wider tyres or tracks, reducing ground pressure and improving water infiltration and soil aeration.

Operators can switch between in‑furrow and on‑land modes via a parallelogram adjustment centre in the cab, with hydraulic controls for furrow width and front‑furrow settings. The AutoAdapt system automatically adjusts the front furrow to maintain a consistent finish across the field.

A key feature is the SpeedBlade plough body, which places an extra‑large front shin ahead of the mouldboard, concentrating wear on the replaceable shin and lowering maintenance costs. The plough’s robust beam measures 150 × 150 × 8.8 mm, and the ProtectShaft cross‑shaft provides low wear and long service life.

When turning, the front furrow cylinder swivels the plough out, allowing the selected furrow width to be retained and reducing wear on components. Overload protection is offered mechanically via a shear bolt or hydraulically, with adjustable release force.
